Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. This page lists the cookies and similar technologies ModofWar uses today, what each one does and how long it lasts. It is part of the Privacy Policy.

Other technologies
- Jetpack Stats (Automattic) counts visits and page views. Its tracking script does not set cookies.
- Session storage. WordPress stores a small value in your browser’s session storage to check emoji support. It is deleted when you close the tab.
- Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site, may set strictly necessary security cookies when it needs to check traffic.
Third-party content
Some older articles embed YouTube videos. When such a video loads, YouTube may set its own cookies, which are governed by Google’s privacy policy. The Instagram, YouTube and X links in the footer are ordinary links and set no cookies until you visit those sites.
Advertising cookies
None at present. ModofWar does not currently display advertising. If advertising (for example Google AdSense) is introduced, the cookies it uses will be listed here before it starts, and your consent will be requested where the law requires it.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking functional cookies may mean the site forgets your language choice or comment details. To stop Google Analytics specifically, you can also use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Questions about cookies can be sent through the contact page.
